Visual is planning to develop a lifestyle village in the Richwood/Burgundy area of Cape Town though development rights have still to be acquired.

The Burgundy Lifestyle land is located in a fully built-up area in Richwood, has a lovely view of Table Mountain and the Table Bay ocean, and is well positioned for the establishment of a lifestyle estate.

Burgundy Lifestyle is ±10 kilometres from the Panorama MediClinic; and it is situated within a 10 kilometre radius of where more than 5,000 middle, upper middle and upper income group families live – these are, amongst other, the suburbs of Richwood, Burgundy, Bothasig, Welgelegen, Plattekloof, Panorama, Monte Vista, De Duin, Edgemead, Summer Greens. But for senior citizens there is very little, if anything, available in these suburbs of the nature and quality, with the security and in the general price range of Burgundy Lifestyle.

Burgundy Lifetsyle will be developed as a rental project, in order for Visual (as investor) and for Visual’s investor clients to earn a good return, to utilize the benefits of article 13 of the Income Tax Act and to benefit from long term property escalations. Visual will own the communal facilities and will undertake, for a lifestyle management fee, the management of the lifestyle estate on its own behalf and on behalf of the investors and tenants.
